 CareyKindly is a Texas owned and operated business based out of
Austin, specializing in simple, non-toxic cleaning solutions for
conscientious consumers.
CareyKindly began as a reaction to learning from green-minded
individuals. After hearing about the negative properties of most
household cleaners on both personal and environmental health, Dawn
Carey (founder) learned some simple solutions for cleaning around her
home. Seeing the benefits for herself, she sought to educate friends
and family on the dangers of conventional cleaners and the alternatives
available by gifting them with some of the solutions she had learned.
The response was overwhelmingly positive, and as they requested
more, Dawn realized something. Although many people out there want to
be more conscious of the products they use and their effects, most
people simply don't have the time or energy to devote to learning how
to create alternatives, let alone make them for personal use.
And so CareyKindly was launched -- its mission is to educate
consumers on the effects of the chemicals they use in their homes,
encourage awareness and knowledge of the available alternatives and
their creation, and providing simple, green, non-toxic products as an
alternative to busy families and individuals who want to treat
themselves and their planet better.
